WELCOME EPISODE 1 OF SEASON 3! Today I chat to my mate Shyam from MUAC who holds PBs of 4:41 in the 1500, 10:19 in the 3K, 17:15 in the 5K. Shyam captures his experiences growing up in Singapore and Malaysia and how it differs to Australia from an educational perspective and living circumstances. We touch on the variety an arts degree offers through Journalism to Economics. Shyam is an entrepreneur and established Oracui, a peer mentoring program for high school students to connect with industry professionals and University students. Shyam is also a volunteer for On My Feet which operates in Perth and Melbourne focused on creating 6 month programs combining, education, exercise, employment to combat homelessness. Shyam also hosts a podcast Insights with Experts focused on interviewing guests who have lived and achieved so much offering their advice to us youth!
