In their first episode, Nick and Scott interview Los Angeles' most notorious Strava Queen, Isabel "Iz" King. They discuss her start in sports, East Coast vs West Coast, and her 2020 activities which included raising money for LA's health care workers and teaming up with NBA Hall of Famer, Reggie Miller, to combat social injustice.
Isabel is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. She started her athletic career as a D1 soccer player at Columbia University. From working on Wall Street to attaining her MBA at UCLA, Isabel thrives on challenges. She evolved into a Pro Triathlete, winning the Eagleman 70.3 and dominating the Strava cycling leaderboard, accumulating over 1,000 QOM’s throughout Los Angeles. This bright, fun and engaging Pro is always easy to spot in her signature orange gear. That internal drive, coupled with thoughtful financial planning, has enabled her to take a turn she never saw coming: shelving plans for an office job while she competes as a professional triathlete.
