In this episode, Nick & Scott talk with performance coach and swimming professional, Steve Mellor. They start off with Steve's home country and swimming beginnings before transitioning to collegiate swimming and coaching.
Steve Mellor was team captain and set two NC State Records in the 200m Backstroke and the 400m IM. He is a 3 x ACC Medalist and NCAA Qualifier. He was a top 50 world rank 200m Backstroke Swimmer. Steve went on to swim on the international stage representing GB in 2005 and 2007. After his swim career, he transitioned to coaching at LSU for over 8 years. Some of his athletes went on to compete at World Championships and medal at the Olympics, which he continued coaching through those events. Steve is now a performance coach and is the host of the Career Competitor Podcast.
