Today on the podcast, I talk about the five stages of being an overthinker. This topic is not a new one. I often discuss the process of being an overthinker and how thoughts prevent us from stepping into who we really are. As a chronic overthinker, I understand how the mind works but I also have found that when I acknowledge my feelings and have tools then I don’t have to let those thoughts control me. There are ways to connect with yourself that don’t feel suffocating or overwhelming. Slowing down when our minds are speeding up is a crucial tool in helping us change old patterns into new ones.
