Colossians 1:3-14This week we'll learnthat expresses Paul's thanksgiving for the Colossians' faith and love, and his prayer for them to be strengthened in their knowledge of God's will. He also states that Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation and that in Him all things hold together.
He emphasizes that Jesus is the one in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins. He also states that Jesus is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent.
