Brian was born in South Carolina and played sports all his life. Free up with Kevin Garnett and passed up a 4 year scholarship to join the United States Army. He served the military for 10 years and had a deployment in November of 2008. He was driving to go get stuff for his soldiers, when he hit black ice, went off a ravine and was hurt badly. He lost his leg during the crash ultimately medically retiring him. the crash happened at Ft Riley Ks. After retiring he came home to find himself becoming depressed, suicidal, and gaining 400 LBS. 6 years later he is down to 278 pounds and has a great come back story. He is heading to NY in August 2021 to compete in the National Wheelchair games. Planet Fitness is his sponsor. Brian is training hard for the DOD Warrior games next year in FL to compete for a spot on the 2024 Paralympics team. Brian is also a lil league basketball coach and wheelchair basketball team, he is setting up for his local YMCA.
