🎙“I think this is our duty as journalists…Sometimes we put the microphone on people who have suffered a lot –really suffered– and when bad things happen to [us] and we don’t share it, I ask myself: who am I to later on ask someone else to share their story?”

📺Carolina focuses on high-profile one-on-one interviews, like the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Store, and the Vicepresident of El Salvador, FĂ©lix Ulloa.

🥇She’s extremely skilled in Middle East and Latin American Politics. She’s been a war correspondent in the Middle East, she’s covered terrorist attacks, natural disasters and terrorist organizations such as the Islamic state or Al-Qaeda and the war in Syria.

📑Carolina is part of seven journalists who sued VOA for wrongful dismissal under former President Donald Trump’s administration.

đź“°The journalists allege the U.S. The Agency for Global Media fired them based on vague and false accusations of disloyalty to America. Three of the journalists who sued were forced to leave the country.
