Ben Carlisle, a believer in a dream the American Dream. He is running a challenging race and is Independent of the major Democrat contenders of India Walton or Incumbent Mayor Byron Brown. Some are calling him a protest write-in candidate that may actually help Walton, others say the opposite as his stand may give those who don't want DSA Socialism that could harm Buffalo for years to come given the current charter of the city means a strong mayor with a lot executive power. Buffalo's Mayor actually has a more direct influence in decision making than most in New York State and with no term limits? Ben says that has stagnated Buffalo's growth with long-term policy moves that while well intentioned lack the fluid advance of different leadership that is dynamic.
