Description

The Penrith Panthers dynasty has begun after they became only the second team in the NRL-era to win back-to-back premierships in a comprehensive win over the Parramatta Eels. Dylan Edwards is no longer the under-dog as he claimed the Clive Churchill Medal, with the boys also discussing if Nathan Cleary will surpass the likes of Andrew Johns and Johnathan Thurston.

.

We dive into the Knights maiden NRLW premiership, the renaming of their top individual honour, a trial for recalculating how that honour is won, and revisiting the inaugural Women’s World Club Challenge idea.

.

We also discuss the return of the State Championship between the NSW Cup and QLD Cup Premiers, the Sean O’Sullivan 18th man dilemma, Leigh Centurions gaining promotion to the Super League for 2023, and the ultimate battle between St Helens and Penrith Panthers in the return of the WCC in 2023.

.

In our Bunker Review segment, we go head-to-head over prize money for the NRL premiers, daytime or twilight grand finals, Nicho Hynes (Dally M) vs. James Tedesco (RLPA MVP) vs. Cameron Munster & Joseph Tapine (Sideline Story MVPs), revisiting our pre-season crystal ball predictions, & lastly our take on The Australian Kangaroos 24-man RLWC Squad.
