MENSA is the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world. It's membership extends to only those people who have extremely high IQ.

In the first episode of The World is ending podcast we chat with Vivek Nagarajan who is a member of MENSA high IQ society. Vivek is a 30 something programmer, who happens to have had a number of diverse experiences in life.

He spent his adolescence among the mighty and cool Himalayas and some of that has rubbed off on him. He has a massive 12 million viewership on Quora and has lead a very interesting life.

When he was in grade 3, he taught himself programming, philosophy, electronics and advance maths. By grade 6 he got bored of school and droppped out. After that he went to live in the Himalayas and continued learning more.

Apart from reading popular science and more DIY books ana magazines he also learned everything from forging steel to weaving baskets to working with wood, since it was a practical requirement.

In his own words- "I don't think school has much to do with developing intelligence. Intelligence develops when you are interacting with people much more smarter than you, you pick up ways of thinking and learning as well as information.
