Lukas and Alicia talk time with Stephen Seymour, Associate Director of Social Justice, Equity and Inclusion at University of Southern Queensland. Stephen works with currently incarcerated students to complete their University study and his program assists them in all areas during that time. The program has steered an increase in educational participation in Queensland programs and remains the flagship in Australia for education of those currently incarcerated.
Talking Time is a place where uncomfortable conversations about incarceration and everything to do with it take place. It is where the voice of those who have lived it, have loved ones that has or are living it, work in it or have an interest in it, come together in a safe and supportive place.
