Description

Hi my name is Aida - I am an educator and wellness enthusiast and my name is Dejda and I am Healthy Equity Advocate, Activist, and Resident Homebody

Welcome to Sad Girl Sunday” a podcast created by and made for black women

Originally sad grl sunday started out as a supportive community created to aid in each others journey to healing. Now Aida and I are expanding outside of of the realm of just mental health. We are holding discussions relevant to the black experience and hoping to include you in the conversation too.

We will be taking a somewhat light-hearted approach to difficult and complex conversations centered around  wellness within the black community. We’ll be touching on topics like imposter syndrome in the workplace, black love vs. interacial relationships, building generational wealth, the harm behind black women archetypes, and more. Our aim is to educate, empower, and elevate the community we come from and we get to do all of this on our Sad Girl Sunday platform.

You can find our recorded podcast on Youtube, Spotify and Apple Podcast… and you can tune in on Sunday Mornings to listen to our show
