So many people think that becoming a Christian means obeying rules and proving yourself to God; a fury of effort to somehow make yourself worthy of salvation, but Jesus is saying, “Sit down, be still, and let me wash your feet.” The foundation of Christianity is not what we do for Him but what He has done for us.
