Description

Greg flies solo today and puts together a last minute message on Amazing Grace (the hymn and for us).

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Heb. 4:16).

Amazing grace! how sweet the sound!/ That saved a wretch like me!/ I once was lost, but now am found;/ Was blind, but now I see”—verse 1 of the hymn, “Amazing Grace.”

“Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,/ And grace my fears relieved./ How precious

did that grace appear/ The hour I first believed!”—verse 2 of the hymn, “Amazing Grace.

“Thro’ many dangers, toils, and snares,/ I have already come./ ‘Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,/ And grace will lead me home”—verse 3 of the hymn, “Amazing Grace.”

“When we’ve been there ten thousand years,/ Bright, shining as the sun,/ We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise/ Than when we first begun”—verse 4 of the hymn, “Amazing Grace.”
