According to a research called "World Happiness Survey", Bangladesh ranked the first or the second. Bangladesh doesn't have lots of developed skills or technologies, but they are saying that they are the happiest people in the world. This song is about that. About how to love yourself, and what we are missing… It's something you've heard a lot and it's listening to a principle's speech, so you might think it's so cliché. However, I don't think cliché is bad. People talk about it a lot because it's important. The lyrics are full of J. Cole's own words and his own philosophy.
