Welcome to the CattleCal podcast! In the career call of the month, Brooke Latack and I called Matthew Shapero. Matthew is the Livestock and Range Advisor at Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. He shared a lot of nice stories going from a pre-med degree at Columbia University, to almost working in an ambulance in NY city, to being a farmer in northern California, and now working for the Cooperative Extension team at UC Davis.
