Description

Regina’s research expands our knowledge in this episode of the Horse Industry Podcast with the history of a unique horse breed known as the Knabstrupper.  This breed originated in Denmark in 1812 when a chestnut mare with leopard markings was bred to a solid–colored stallion, producing a colt with stunning spotting. The mare known as Flaebehoppen lived at an estate called Knabstrupgård, the offspring became known as Knabstruppers.  You will enjoy this episode almost as much as looking at pictures of these beautiful horses.
