Description

Pippin is a 1972 musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Roger O. Hirson. Bob Fosse, who directed the original Broadway production, also contributed to the libretto. The musical uses the premise of a mysterious performance troupe, led by the Leading Player, to tell the story of Pippin, a young prince on his search for meaning and significance. The 'fourth wall' is broken numerous times during most traditional productions.

About The Host

Kenneth L. Waters, Jr. (He/Him) has been involved in theater for over a decade around the DMV area. He is a graduate from The College of Southern Maryland and Frostburg State University with degrees in Theatrical Design and Performance. He is currently the Production Stage Manager at Roxy Regional Theatre in Clarksville, Tennessee. He has been involved in numerous productions both on and off stage.

About The Guest

Caleb Smith (He/Him) s an actor, writer, singer, pianist, and aspiring playwright. He has spent his quarantine working on his first play, Don’t Blame the Butler when the Cook’s Holding the Knife! as well as finishing up his studies at the College of Southern Maryland. He hopes to attend UMBC in the fall to pursue his desired Acting BFA.
