We've seen what happens when we are given the space, the power, the resources to tell our own stories.
But what about the other side?
In this episode we will talk about what happens when Black are told without Black voices. We'll talk about erasure, distortion, as well as the psychological toll this takes on Black audiences
We'll also ask (and answer) more questions:
Can a non-Black creator tell Black stories?
What can that non-Black creator do to bring respect, homage , and care to Black stories?
What does legacy look like for Black stories?
