Johnnie Walker has been on an amazing journey, making the transition from a chief executive to a pilgrim. He is today a leading expert on the ancient pilgrimage routes of northwestern Spain, has written several guide books and runs a popular Camino forum on social media.
I asked John about his first journey as a pilgrim in 2007 and some of his most memorable experiences with fellow pilgrims. He also tells us about his recent "Walk for Others" on the Camino Frances during the pandemic. He did the walk on behalf of all those people unable to walk the Camino with more than 400 people sending him prayer requests and prayer stones to place along the path.
