From a living hell at home to "acting like Barbie" at church, Kim's childhood was full of abuse, confusion, deception, and hiding. As all children do, Kim blamed herself for everything. The invalidation from her mother, and the legalism at church drove her to give God the middle finger for many years. But hope and healing broke through with entertaining the possibility of one thing. Now Kim helps others with what she's learned.
Bio: Kim Nave is a homeschooling mom of 8, and I live in Tennessee. She got my therapy degree after experiencing challenges with her oldest daughter who struggles with addiction and mental health issues. She has studied trauma since 2018 and got certified in the Trauma Healing Method in 2022. She currently helps Christian women heal from trauma through the Broken Chains Academy and is developing a program to increase the understanding of trauma for pastors so they can more effectively minister to people who are hurting in their churches.
