Adventurous and independent, Wendy grew up in solid Christian home. She was an avid reader who already knew what she wanted to do with her life at ten years old. At 19, she boldly moved from America to Kkyrgyzstan. The temporary trip turned into a new adventure involving multiple countries. Her independent nature took it hard when she discovered she couldn't function alone. She needed help and it brought Wendy to her knees in bitter tears. Through the love and support of her husband and friends she overcame the cultural obstacles and learned the power of interdependence.
Bio: From a small town in the US living Stateside until moving to Kyrgyzstan at the age of 19. Wendy spent 6-months living with her brother and family 'helping' with church-plant before moving to Hungary to attend a Bible College. Graduating in December of 2010, Wendy felt the Lord leading her to Serbia where she moved and still resides. Along the way, she married a Serbian man and had a beautiful baby boy. She and her husband are currently church-planting in Central Serbia. This year Wendy will be releasing her first book and beginning the venture of leading a community garden.
