Battling unseasonably windy weather 500 people raising money and interest in the fight to reopen Grange lido became the latest group to cross the wide expanse of Morecambe Bay from Arnside to Grange. Some had travelled from as far as New Zealand to take part in an event which is growing in popularity.
Campaigners want to bring the lido back into use - 2025 is the target date for swimmers to return.
