I accept that generic is needed as an anchor. I reject that it should be a metric to attain. Instead it should be the metric used to discover the extraordinary and harvest the gift of its potential. Instead we actually aspire to mediocrity. Extraordinary is braded as inconsistent. Incomitance is branded as work in progress. Is this actually in our favor? It seems to be indicative that we need to marry statistical analysis with cognitive reasoning and make their offspring our governor.
