The HBOners are back! After a tumultuous third season, in which my first mate, Chasey Joshua, abandoned ship, I want you to know, fans, that Stevin Nippol is not scared of a few waves. I'll not be swimming for shore - this or any other season. No, I will go down with this ship. So, after a heavy and depressing season, I thought I'd go with something lighter, which is why I chose the new HBO murder mystery (based on a true story): Landscapers. We've got a couple beloved actors from across the pond: Olivia Colman (Fleabag, The Favourite, Broadchurch) and David Thewlis (Harry Potter, The Organ Grinder's Monkey, Basic Instinct 2). If it's anything like the other British shows I've seen, this should be a light, funny, charming series.
Landscapers premieres Monday, December 6th, on HBO, and this season I'll be trying out new guest hosts with every episode, as we look to fill the Chasey Joshua shaped hole that was so suddenly left in our program.
