Shawn T. Ellison, MA, RN, is a Christian Mystic, Certified Integral Coach, Narrative Enneagram Practitioner, and Registered Nurse. He’s experienced multiple spiritual awakenings that have led to transformative states of mystical consciousness. By the age of 22, Shawn experienced the abiding realization of Union with God, described by St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross. This spiritual realization is known as “Theosis” or the “Unitive State” in the Christian Mystical Tradition.
In 2016, Shawn later experienced the falling away of subject-object Union with God and entered what he calls, “Cosmic Unity Consciousness,” “Christ-consciousness,” or pure witnessing subjectivity. His spiritual journey since has been a gradual movement toward complete loss of self or non-dual suchness beyond all subjectivity. He credits these spiritual transformations to the creative action of divine grace. Lastly, Shawn works with spiritual seekers one-on-one to help them develop the inner dispositions that are conducive to spiritual awakening.
