This week Pastors Colby Myers and Brian Singleton join hosts Jamie and Angela Lingerfelt to share some encouragement from the heart of God. God is a very present help in a time of need. He wants us to look to Him for help. He already knows we need help, but He wants us to recognize our need for Him and then reach out in faith. God likes to be invited into our situations. He will come to us in the most hopeless times, and He hears our earnest cries to Him. Jesus truly knows everything we need and He is able to give us everything we need. Seeking the wisdom of the world is not as valuable or helpful as seeking Christ and letting His wisdom lead us. God qualifies those He calls. He takes the foolish things of this world and uses them to bring great glory to Himself. God is able to restore anyone and everyone, and He is willing! But it is time for us to repent, to turn to Him, and leave the wisdom of this world behind. The correction or the discipline of God is loving and kind and helps us reflect Christ more clearly. His discipline is perfect and draws us nearer to Him.
