Disco is one of those genres of music where you’re probably not going to find a lot of people hating it. In fact, disco really feels like the genre for everyone.
In today’s episode, I talked with Ethan, one of the founders of Gimme Gimme Disco. He walked me through the development of how the company came to be, the draw of a disco party, as well as future plans for growth of the company.

Burwood Media was founded by two lifelong best friends, Ethan & Alex who grew up together in the same neighborhood, Burwood
Park in the suburbs of London. Growing up they bonded over their love of music, concerts, and throwing epic parties together. In early 2015, inspired by the music of their formative years, they decided to throw a free party DJ'ing emo & pop punk music at a local bar in Brooklyn. This was the start of what would become national touring brand - Emo Night Brooklyn. After years of hustling (and lots of trial and error!) they then went on to build additional successful event brands including Gimme Gimme Disco, and Best Night Ever. With their years of experience in social media, digital marketing, and building their own unique systems and operations, they began to take on clients and Burwood Media was born.
