If you joined us yesterday, you saw us open the book of 1 Corinthians 1 & 2 and begin to look at one of the mysteries that God has for us. We call it the mystery of God’s wisdom based upon 1 Corinthians 2:7. As we look at that specific passage of Scripture, we see that what we are looking at is people seeking to find life, and they cannot find life. Therefore, there is a mystery here. There is a secret, so to speak. There is a way to life and a way to live life that in and of ourselves we never unravel. We never figure it out. So, we have one of the mysteries of Scripture, the mystery of God’s wisdom. That began, as we saw yesterday, with the gospel itself. We saw the first part of that is that the entry point to understanding life begins with knowing Jesus Christ. That is the gospel, and we see that in 1 Corinthians 1:20- 24.
