It is only fair before we complete the subject of Revelation and heaven to look at what eternity is like for those who rejected Jesus Christ. So, we are going to spend the next five lessons looking at life for eternity for the unbeliever.
I want to start with some false views. People have often and still do try to sidestep the whole issue of eternal punishment and eternal judgment of hell. We understand that because no one really wants to think about anyone going to hell. That is a doctrine we would like to get rid of it would seem and so there have been many attempts to do so by coming up with different theories.
So, I want to mention very quickly five different views not found in Scripture but have been taught often by the church or by those that are maybe not Christians but those who are looking for an escape . . .
