Don't most of us just have TOO much STUFF? I know I do. Sometimes we hang onto it because it seems comforting. For example, my mom loved sets of china. I think it made her feel like she wasn't poor any longer. Some people hang onto stuff because it is an obligation, i.e. me hanging on to my mom's china. We all have storage units and bins of stuff that hasn't seen the light of day in however long. In the case of the set of china my mom wanted me to have, I have been moving it from house to house for more than a decade. And for what? It really is just "stuff". Just things. We assign meaning to them, but they really are just stuff. When all this stuff clutters up our homes, it clutters up our minds, our mental spaces and leaves us not knowing where to start. Your challenge today is to go through one drawer in your house and get rid of some of that stuff that is cluttering up your life. Figure out why you are hanging onto it, and then let it go. And a note to my cousin...come get the china. Otherwise, it might just find it's way onto someone else's table soon!
