I have been reading a book called, "The Minimalist Home" by Joshua Becker. It got me thinking about my own journey with decluttering my dad's house and how I struggle with having a lot of "stuff" because I don't function well in a mess or surrounded by a lot of clutter. I have always been drawn to a lifestyle with less stuff, but I wouldn't call myself a minimalist. The past months of my life have been filled with deciding what to do with all the belongings in my childhood home. This book makes me think more deeply about how life can be simpler, more restful and even more productive with less stuff.
