When I was three days old, I was adopted by my parents. I never knew, or really had a big desire to know, my bio family. But when my daughter prompted me, I looked into it and found some of the most amazing people on the planet. Who would have thought that the "family" I would find was a family like no other? Shout out to the kind, compassionate, welcoming and good humans I am related to. Clearly, the last little apple didn't fall far from that tree. ;) But seriously, this whole journey made me ever-so thankful for all who helped shape my life.
