Do you have or know a child going off to school? Are they prepared? They might have clothing and other material things, if you can afford them. That is great but have you had the talk with them. Children need to be mentally prepare as well. They need to know what to expect. If our child makes it to college then you really need to have the stranger friend danger conversation. I am saying this because this is not just about girls. A large percentage of men are being sexually assaulted in college as well. lets give out children the tools. if we can prevent one person from becoming a victim or a survivor we have done a good job.
