Hello, it's Dr. Yurkiw here and welcome to today's practice minute. Today I want to talk about customer service. What makes one Clinic more successful than another are several factors, including customer service. Today I had fantastic customer service from American Express. The customer service rep on the phone could answer some of my questions but had to transfer me to another department to answer the others. She was having difficulty doing that but continued to check in on me and update me on how she was doing about every 20 to 30 seconds. Once she was successful, I told her I appreciated the answer she gave me and the accountability to keep me posted on the process and not leaving me on hold for too long. The way it made me feel was I was important to her and the company. I wanted to share this example with you so you can focus on customer service with your employees as they are a direct extension of you in your clinic.
