Description

Who am I? At the start of this new year. I want to make sure that I constantly remember who I am. Especially during social interactions with family and coworkers. How do we relate to others when we believe they are the aggressors? I shared the poem from Thich Nhat Hanh, "Please Call Me by My True Names". Beloved Buddhist monk was called Thay from his students. Here I see this poem as a teaching of how we need to be aware that we are victims and aggressors in our lives. We are part of the whole. Let's practice being conscious during our interactions with others and assume the person is projecting their views onto us. When we are grounding and confident in who we are, others will not rattle us as much. Have a great day!
