4th of July celebration made me think of the question, "How free are you?" Do you allow others to make choices for you or can you have the courage to express what you want? My parents made the decision to immigrate to America when they saw the economic oppression in Mexico. They could not manage their children's health so they decided to move to another country and try it out. Thankfully living in America was the solution to my siblings and my physical health. Parents have to make decisions that will affect their children. As adults, we have to work through trauma and perceptions that are not helpful. As well as appreciate everything we have because of our parents choices.
