F. Scott Fitzgerald's 'This Side of Paradise' tells the coming-of-age story of an eccentric Princeton University student, Amory Blaine. Amory, throughout this novel, becomes wealthy and poor, finds love and loses it, becomes popular and insignificant. All of these events are set during a time in American History (World War One) when ideas and opinions of the young generations are changing rapidly.
