Gen Y Entrepreneur Jade Mckay embraced the opportunity to own her own business just 6 months after starting as a salaried adviser and while she was going through immense changes in her personal life. She has built an armoury of skills from working since 16. Her story is one of determination, resilience, diligence and owning her own power as a woman within financial planning. Jade takes us through how she started her business and her approach to proving a strong business proposal to the bank. Jade was a finalist in the 2019 AFA Rising Star Awards and is a fellow West Australian, running her advice business, Essential Advice, out of Bunbury.
