The San Diego Padres have just begun the second half of the 2021 MLB season with the conclusion of the All-Star break. They started things off by scoring a franchise record 24 runs in their first game back. However, some unfortunate outcome had the Padres suspend another game and have to play it along with the finale on the last day. The Padres scored a lot against the Nationals pitching staff and that can provide a spark for this long road trip.
