In this episode I have a real talk and direct conversation with Karen Sher, Board of Trustees for Oxnard Union High School District, as well as middle school teacher for Oxnard School District. We discuss Karen's role as a trustee, as a teacher, and as a mother trying to navigate and adapt to these difficult and challenging times. We touch on very sensitive and delicate topics such as mental stability for both teachers and students, and what the Board foresees in the near future as being the direction our education system is taking.
