Mountains and rocks are places where people go to seek the face of God. As Mountains surround Jerusalem, so God surround His people. You must have your complete trust and confidence in God and not man. You will continue to run and afraid of the actions and wickedness of men, until you learn to trust God. No man arrives at his destination without a trip to Zion. Zion is the secret place of the covenant keeping God, hidden away from distractions seeking your attention. You asked but denied because you don't trust God.
