Power and authority are indispensable for effectiveness and efficiency in the workplace and ministry. Truly, no man anywhere exercises unlimited power because he must recourse to a superior authority of man or the Holy Spirit. You must give account of the work done, for it is required in stewardship that a man be found faithful in his responsibilities. Did you know that half obedience is no obedience, as once saved is not forever saved? Without exercising spiritual authority, you are endangering your life, family, work, business, and ministry. Don't pursue a promotion without the authority to exercise the office, for no office is recognized without the power and authority. What you don't grow cannot grow your influence and authority. Die daily to grow daily in the Spirit.
