If you leave God out of your thoughts and life for a while, you will form a new way of life, and character, and be occupied with a contrary spirit different from His. Immediately the Spirit of God departed from Saul, and demon spirits took over his life and thoughts, and his peace and joy were stolen. God will go to any length to satisfy the committed and the focused. No man denies and refuses to elevate the committed in his service. Those who live far from God can’t subject their life and services to God in humility; the extent of your humility is the extent of your closeness and adoration to God. Learn and teach your household and employees humility, for by it riches and honour are released; what you don’t appreciate cannot elevate you. If you abandon the care and the needs of your household in your early years, don’t expect humility and honour from them in your old age.
