Planning is a process of deciding in advance what is to be done. Jesus applied wisdom to plan the selection of His Apostles. Peter, as the rock was the foundation of the church, hence the most important. Andrew was the roof that must be seen afar off and helps to see a great deal into the future. A roof cannot struggle with it's foundation otherwise, it's fall is imminent. No man builds a great vision on a weak foundation and expects it to live. Stop competing with others but compliment them.
