Don’t fall for the simple tricks of the devil, for many have met their untimely death. No one would be held responsible if you were carefree with your life, you must watch out for the manipulations of the devil. When man tempts God, he only asks things to feed his ego and lust, and not to glorify Him. The tempter will never come to you as an enemy, so don’t be carried away with his smiles, offers, goodness, politeness, affection, and support. If you make critical decisions without the Spirit’s conviction, you may never recover from the losses; remember, your loss is a gain to another. Remember, whatever the devil or anyone is dangling before you may actually be freely given to you by God; check with the Spirit.
