This episode is one of prayer the prayer leaders and intercessors join together in prayer as they lift up those that are in need of healing, comfort, support, deliverance from hinderances in their lives.
In the book of Psalm 4:1 we can call upon Him, "Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have freed me when I was hemmed in and relieved me when I was in distress: Be gracious to me and hear my prayer." O God of my righteousness. This phrase can also be translated "O my righteous God." It has two meanings: only God is righteous, and all of a person's righteousness is found in Him alone.
As we cry out to the LORD lifting our voices in prayer as found in Psalm 3:4 "With my voice I was crying to the LORD, and He answered me from His holy mountain." We can in times of trouble do just as David cried out when he fled from Absalom his son.
We can seek the LORD in times of trouble as in the 2 Chronicles 7:14 prayer where it tells us the promise that He will hear, if the people would only pray. This is directly linked to the covenant promises that God made with the Israelites (Dt 28-30). Blessings were linked to obedience, curses linked to rebellion, and the promise that God would hear if they repented was the reminder that God had eternal commitment to them. "and My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek [crave, require as a necessity] My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land."
We gather every Saturday at the 2 O'clock hour together in prayer lifting up all before the LORD God, Psalm 25:1 "To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul." We place our trust in the hands of God, for in Him we have unwavering trust and we rely upon Him with all our hearts.
Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God's gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing ] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just a the right moment].
Believers should boldly approach God in prayer, because He is our gracious High Priest who sits at God's right hand interceding for us.

Just remember God never promised us days without rain, but He did promise that He would never leave us nor forsake us. Therefore no matter what today throws at us, we know that He stands at the door and if any man opens the door, He'll come and sup with you.
