The Bible in the Book of James mentions the most common problems in prayer: not asking, asking for the wrong things, asking for the wrong reasons, or just the plain failure to keep praying about it.
The Bible says we have not because we ask not, and then at other times we ask amiss.
Do you talk to God at all? and when you do is it just to ask for something. Do you ask to satisfy your desires? Do you seek God's approval for what you already plan to do? Your prayers will become powerful when you allow God to change your desires so that they perfectly correspond to His will for you (1 John 3:21, 22).
Keep praying about it, don't give up or give in. If the LORD God intends for you to have it, you shall.
Blessings,
