California is a failed experiment in big government. The state pours huge amounts of money and resources into liberal pet projects like subsidies for illegal immigrants, DE&I programs and green energy policies, and then when a crisis hits, the government is like a deer in headlights. Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass should be ashamed for how she is handling the wildfires tearing through the city.
Then, liberal-run New York City is implementing a new congestion toll, which taxes people for traveling though the southern part of Manhattan during certain times of the week. This will have devastating effects on local business, and the residents will feel the effects in no time.
