The play-by-play calling of a sporting event really shapes the fans’ experience of any given game or match. In this episode, Eric & Drew mix it up Todd Harris and discuss his amazing career as a Sports Announcer. Last year, Todd was announced as the new lead announcer for the recently rebooted British Basketball League and their game of the week on Sky Sports in the UK. Previously, Todd was an announcer and reporter for NBC Sports and NBCSN, focused on the Olympic and extreme sports. His sports media career began with ESPN covering college football, the X Games, and IndyCar, which included the role of lap-by-lap announcer for ABC's coverage of the 2005 Indianapolis 500. Todd gained notoriety as the 15-year host of ESPN's coverage of the World's Strongest Man, hosting alongside 4x champion Bill Kazmeier. NBC Sports also used Todd for their coverage of Shaun White's Gold medal final run in Pyeongchang, South Korea at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games and as host for the Tour de France and the network's coverage of the annual IronMan event in Kailua Kona, Hawaii.
